Moose Encounters
There are more injuries with moose encounters than any other wild
animal in North America.
Moose do not travel in herds
and can be encountered
anywhere in this region. If a moose
does charge you, get behind a tree
or bush and stay still. If under
attack, curl up!
Our mountain community was home to the wildlife
long before it became our home. Wildlife
management in Utah is not without challenges,
and we all need to do our part to protect these
beautiful animals for our
future & future generations.
